I provide a careful eye for correcting errors and adjusting unclear copy without sacrificing the writer’s voice. I primarily work with the Chicago Manual of Style, but am also comfortable following MLA, AP, and APA styles.
My editing experience includes academic articles in fields such as social work and higher education, informational fliers and program brochures, nonfiction pieces for literary magazine Ecotone, short stories for literary magazine Young Adult Review Network, English translations of Swedish essays, and several novel manuscripts. Most of my recent work has been for an inbound marketing company, editing short- and long-form content—including e-books, blog posts, conversion path copy, and social media copy—for clients in industries ranging from marketing to financial services to publishing.
- Light copyediting/proofreading: $20/hour

The level of edit required will depend on your project. I’m happy to have a consultation with you before moving forward with an editing project—drop me a note via my contact page.
